Sea Turtles are found in every ocean except the Arctic and Antarctic. They make incredibly long migrations between feeding and breeding areas. They mate at sea then come ashore to lay their eggs.
For more than 100 million years sea turtles have roamed the seas. But in less than 200 years human activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these ancient creatures. 6 of the 7 sea turtle species are classified as threatened, endangered or critically endangered.
