Donate to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Did you know that visiting a zoo or aquarium is good for your health? It’s true!

According to a 2020 study by the Institute for Conservation Medicine at the St. Louis Zoo, visitors showed a significant reduction in stress after connecting with animals. It also has something to do with spending time with family, getting out in nature, getting active and having fun.

After the crazy times we have experienced, we could all use a break. Some fun. Some de-stressing. If you haven’t been to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium since the 15-month COVID closure, we want you back!

We think you’ll be thrilled to see how we used the down time to make some nice improvements—a new tidewater splash exhibit; a renewed tidepool touch habitat; beautiful new windows and scientific fence coverings; a deep cleaning and de-cluttering; new floors and new signs just to name a few things.

As you consider your year-end giving, please continue to support Friends of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium!

We promise to do our part to make Cabrillo Marine Aquarium your happy place—a place where you can de-stress and inject some fun into your life. Touch the animals. Get outdoors. Get active. Bring the whole family.  Turns out it really is good for you!
